Course Objective:
The course objective is to introduce the student to the fundamentals of Electronic measurements and instrumentation by providing in-depth understanding of processor control systems, signal conversions, conditioning of signals coming from transducers, various types of transducers to measure the variety of quantities. Based on the signals the control operation and use of actuators. With new technologies the topics relevant to the microcontroller/ microprocessor and PC based data acquisition system is covered to make student aware about the use of processing units in design of sensing devices.
Course Outcomes (COs):
At the end of this course students will be able to
1. Understand standards, characteristics, errors.
